Beneath the Surface emerged through an intuitive process of layering, movement, and discovery, inviting the viewer into a space where memory, emotion, and imagination quietly intersect. The flowing forms and deep blues reveal something different with each viewing, leaving room for personal interpretation.

Created by artist Emmy Spoon, this piece began as an original digital artwork created in Procreate. Working intuitively, Emmy builds each composition through countless layers of mark-making, texture, and color, allowing the image to emerge organically rather than following a predetermined sketch. The result is a one-of-a-kind artwork that explores the subconscious through abstraction.
