Some experiences stay with us long after the details have faded. We may not remember every conversation, every place, or every face, but something remains—a feeling, a color, a fragment that quietly resurfaces when we least expect it.

Only A Memory emerged through an intuitive process of layered washes, expressive linework, and unexpected bursts of color. Rather than beginning with a fixed plan, the composition evolved through observation and response, allowing forms to reveal themselves over time.

The title came afterward. It reflects the way memories often exist—not as complete narratives, but as impressions that continue to shape us. Like much of my work, this piece invites viewers to slow down, discover their own associations, and find meaning within the layers.
